What’s in the name?

At Deepfield, our name draws inspiration from the renowned Hubble Deep Field image – a tiny patch of sky whose close observation revealed thousands of previously unseen galaxies. In that spirit, we practice patient, disciplined investing: looking deeper, uncovering hidden value in founder-owned healthcare services businesses that others might overlook.

Anil Singh

Founder & Managing Partner

Anil Singh is the Founder and Managing Partner of Deepfield Capital, an investment firm focused on the lower middle market. He leads the firm’s strategy, investment activity, and operations, with a hands-on approach to sourcing, diligence, and portfolio company growth.

Anil has over a decade of experience in private equity, investment banking, and private credit, with a focus on healthcare services. Prior to founding Deepfield, he held roles at Leon Capital Group, Houlihan Lokey, and Antares Capital, contributing to more than $6 billion in transaction value across M&A and financings.

His investment philosophy emphasizes patience, discipline, and partnership. He works closely with founders and management teams to unlock sustainable growth through strategic and operational support.

Anil holds degrees from the University of Virginia (BA, Economics), Wake Forest University School of Business (MS, Management), and SMU Cox School of Business (MBA, Finance & Real Estate).

He founded Deepfield Capital to serve as a trusted partner to founders and investors – helping build durable, purpose-driven businesses.
